hills

This morning, I ran 4.3 miles in 1:10:00. It was tough but also incredibly rewarding. I can run a half mile on the streets pretty easily now.

Hills are really challenging me at this point. It’s remarkably easy for me to run on and on, IF I am running on a level street. But hills- both going up and down- add a whole new challenge. Going down is not bad, but going up is HARD! I know this is something I just have to push through, until those muscles get stronger and it gets easier. But it’s still frustrating.

I can gladly report that today I ran 4.3 miles in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Definitely a huge improvement over where I began!
