Today I ran 3.5 hilly miles. Almost the same route as yesterday. But unlike yesterday’s workout, today’s workout was fantastic.
So much of it is mental. I mean, I had to push myself today, for sure. But at the same time, there were so many moments during my workout when I just had to tell myself to keep going, to force my mind to overcome my body.
The end result, though, was fantastic. I ran a lot, I felt strong, and I was definitely pleased with my outcome. If anything, I proved that I CAN run these hills, and I AM stronger than a few hills!
Total: 3.5 miles in 55 minutes!
