weights and dog walking

I started my morning out with 40 minutes of weights at the gym- about two and a half circuits. I didn’t have as much time as I would have liked but it still felt great.

Then I went over to my friends’ home and picked up Sadie the super puppy. We went to the park and walked- just two miles today. Again, the time thing. It was WINDY today, very windy, and just about blew us away. But we had a lot of fun and it felt good to stretch my legs again!

One thing I must confess that I love about walking the dog is that I never feel guilty about walking when I’m walking the dog. Especially when I’m training for something, when I’m out on a run, I feel guilty if I’m not running as much as I planned. When I’m walking the dog, I may run a bit, but I don’t feel guilty if I slow down a bit.
