resting, preparing for tomorrow’s run

I’m relaxing, kicking my feet up on the recliner this evening. Today has been a rest day, and that’s a good thing. I don’t want to work myself into an injury. My feet are still clinging to a tiny bit of “tiredness”- I can’t really describe it any other way. My muscles are feeling lots better- yesterday and the day before, my muscles were just done. Yesterday, it almost felt like I had a bruise covering my entire thigh- that’s how tender my muscles were!

Tomorrow morning, I plan to get up early and go for a run before church. I have a new route mapped out. I’m a little nervous, very excited, already using lots of mental strategies to help me through it. I hope it goes well!
