Today I actually had a great workout- more intense than I expected, but still good!
Well, technically it was three workouts. First I got to the gym a bit early and hopped on a treadmill. In the next 15 minutes, I ran 1.13 miles. That was good. It was not as easy as yesterday, but it was still good.
Next I did a 60-minute yoga class. One sidebar- I didn’t really cool down properly after my time on the treadmill, so I was kinda sweaty when the class began. That wouldn’t have been a problem, except the cheap-o yoga mats at the gym already slide all over the place, and when my hands and feet were sweaty, I was sliding all over the place on top of them. Not good! I need to buy my own mat sometime soon!
Then I picked up Sadie and we walked together for 4 miles. I love that little pooch.
When I got home I discovered a blister on the bottom of my left foot. Argh. I did a little blister surgery earlier this afternoon and taped it up, but of course it still hurts. 😛
This afternoon I was just more tired than usual- the way I usually feel after a hard workout! Tomorrow I will probably take a rest day, since I did a moderately-hard workout yesterday and another moderately-hard workout today. Sunday, I haven’t decided about yet. I am also still babying my left ankle a bit- RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and such. Well, I guess it’s more like RIE, because I don’t have an ankle brace! Thankfully it’s not too bad- mostly just VERY annoying.
