I have been lazy this week. Lazy weeks are good, maybe even necessary, but they must also end. Tomorrow I need to get out to the gym again.
I do hope that the temperature will improve. It will be so much easier to complete my long runs away from the treadmill!
I really desperately need to continue to push myself if I want to be prepared for a half marathon in a couple of months, particularly if I want to increase my pace. But I’m glad I took some time off. For one thing, the snow has ensured on many days that it just was not safe to leave home, but it’s just good mentally to get some time away from the track or treadmill and return to it with rested legs and a rejuvenated mind.
