halfs and shorters

I’ve been bad lately. Not running enough and not training enough. Bad Melinda.

Yesterday I ran yoga. Today I took Sadie to the park and we walked for 4 miles. It’s not much but it’s something.

I need to decide (ASAP!!) if I’m going to run in the Rock the Parkway half marathon. Part of me wants to, part of me is scared because I haven’t trained enough. But also, there’s a conference that week (unrelated to the race) that I really want to go to. So I’m torn.

If I don’t run Rock the Parkway, I can do the Hospital Hill half, which is in June and leaves plenty of time for training. Of course there’s a reason they call it Hospital Hill, so I know it will be hard, but on the other hand, I am sure I can do it. Plus I can also do the Trolley Run– I’ve heard that is a downhill 4-miler.
