short run, taper

This morning, I went for a short run- only 2.5 miles, and slow. It seems like last week’s 10-mile run is finally wearing down my legs! No complaints- it was a really beautiful day and nice to be outside. But it was frustrating, that my legs were a little sore and not moving quickly.

Since I’m officially getting ready for a half marathon in two weeks, that means the next couple of weeks are “officially” my taper. With that, there will be plenty of craziness. Personally I think I shouldn’t be held responsible for any crazy things I may say or do during this time!
