injuries and birthdays

I’ve been a bad blogger this week.

My running hasn’t done a whole lot better. I ran 3 miles on Monday and 2 miles on Tuesday, and also a 1-hour yoga class on Tuesday, but somehow the combination of yoga and running messed up my foot. Nothing serious, I suspect, but it hurts when I “lift” the three outer toes on my left foot. So I didn’t do any running on Wednesday.

Today, I’m probably in good enough shape to run, but it is my birthday so I’m treating myself to a day off. 28 years strong and loving it! It’s also raining outside, so it’s probably a good day to take a break!
