It occurred to me today that I’ve been neglecting this website.
Actually it’s occurred to me frequently in the past couple of months. Around last September or October, I made some slight changes in my career trajectory, and it’s been, well, stressful. Not bad at all, but around November and December, worrying about running or exercising was the last thing on my mind. Going “off the grid” was the easiest thing for me to do during that time.
But around Christmas, I began to find balance again. I’m working out again, quite regularly, of which I’m quite proud. I’m actually hurting (a LOT) today because my arms are SO sore from a BodyPump class I attended yesterday.
I’m not training for any races right now. Along with that career change, my finances have dropped slightly. There are two 5ks in the spring that I will be able to run for free, so I guess I’m sorta training for that, but no half-marathons this year. Just not enough time to train for that!
I do need to get back into the habit of updating this website, though. Here’s hoping!
