the magic number
I had several thoughts I wanted to write about today, but right now I can only think of one thing: Gee whiz, I’m tired. I’ve been keeping up with my training plan, of which I’m very proud, and today my … Continue reading
snow, the obstacle
I wanna run. It snowed overnight (two or three inches), and as a result my mother (a teacher) was home for a snow day. The temperature is warm enough for a run (around 31-32 degrees), but at the same time, … Continue reading
the farmer’s blow
First of all, yay me for getting outside today- it was COLD and WINDY! 28 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds blowing 20mph and gusting to 30. I guess that’s still not as cold as it gets other years, but it still … Continue reading
my latest training plan

spring races and the Amy Thompson run
Trying to blog, but I’m watching this Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, and it’s very distracting! Lately I’ve been in the process of planning my spring racing schedule. Last year I ran two half marathons in the spring, after a … Continue reading
sore legs, happy feet
I am tired. And happy. Today was a busy day. I spent a large chunk of the day volunteering at church- longer than I’d intended but it was worth it. I got a LOT of work done and was just … Continue reading
three toasty miles
I ran 3.05 miles in 36 minutes today. That’s an 11:48 pace. Also, it was a toasty 56 degrees Fahrenheit when I ran. I wore a tank top and shorts, and wasn’t cold at all!
